Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Requirements)
To be eligible for the TDR Postgraduate Scholarship 2025, you must:
- Be a resident and national of a low- or middle-income country (LMIC) in the WHO African Region
- Be under 35 years old at the time of application
- Meet the University of Ghana’s admission requirements for graduate students
- Have a strong interest in Implementation Research on infectious diseases of poverty
- Be proficient in English
- Show proof of the ability to obtain study leave from employment (if applicable)
- Agree to meet the health regulations of Ghana and the University of Ghana

Step 1: Apply for Admission at the University of Ghana

- Select either “GHANAIAN APPLICANT” or “INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT,” create an account, log in, and begin your application.
- Choose either Master of Public Health (Social and Behavioral Science) or MSc. Applied Health Social Science.
Step 2: Apply for the TDR Postgraduate Scholarship
- After completing Step 1, click here to access the TDR Scholarship application portal.
- Create an account and apply for the TDR Postgraduate Scholarship in Implementation Research.
- Select Master of Public Health (Social and Behavioral Science) or MSc. Applied Health Social Science.
- Complete all required fields and upload the necessary documents before submitting your application.
Note: Only applicants who complete all three steps will be considered for further assessment.
